On the Windows desktop, click
Start
to display the Start window shown at left.

Control Panel
to display the Control Panel window. The display varies,
depending on your Windows XP view options. If the display is a Category view as
shown below, continue with step 3. Otherwise, skip to step 5.

to display the Network and Internet

On the Local Area Connection Properties window, be sure Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
is checked. If it is not checked, check it.

Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
and click
Properties
to display the Internet
