Buffalo Router Admin Login Procedure

Launch a web browser on the computer that you're going to use to configure the Buffalo (AirStation or any other) router model.

1. Enter 192.168.11.1 into the URL field. Naturally, if you have changed your Buffalo router's IP address in past, you'll have to enter the new address instead. If not, then proceed with entering the default IP; 192.168.11.1, type it in browser address bar and hit Enter key.
   

   If 192.168.11.1 doesn't works & error appears, then please try these:

   • 192.168.11.80
2. A window will open, prompting you to enter a User ID and Password.
3. The default Username for the Buffalo Router is "admin". for some models & "root" for some, depending on the router model. Try both to see which one works for you!
4. The default Password is "admin". for some models while is left blank for many other models, depending on the router model.
   
5. If the above username/password doesn't work then try these most popular combinations that usually work for Buffalo Router models.

6. Still stuck? If you still can't log into your device, then your device needs to be RESET. Once you RESET, go through Step No. 3 & Step No. 4 above.

Requirements to Login into Your Buffalo Router

IP Address

IP address will be entered into the Address field of your web browser to access the Router's configuration graphical user interface (GUI) using a web browser. The default IP address is 192.168.11.1. This may be changed to suit any IP address scheme the user desires.

Username

Username is needed to access the Router's management interface. When you attempt to connect to the device through a web browser you will be prompted to enter this Username. The default Username for the Router is "admin". for some models & "root" for some, depending on the router model. The user cannot change username.

Password

You will be prompted to enter Password when you access the Router's management interface. The default Password is "admin". for some models while is left blank for many other models, depending on the router model. You need to try both of them to see which one works for you. The user may change this to any other password of his liking.
