Arris Router Admin Login Procedure

If you need to change or modify settings of your Arris router device, or if you want to configure any other wireless LAN settings, you must first log into your router admin panel.

Accessing the Arris Configuration Interface

Follow these steps to access the configuration interface. You should have already setup the DG1670 as described in:

1. In your web browser, open the page http://192.168.0.1 to access the wireless router setup. The Login screen displays.

   If 192.168.0.1 doesn't works & error appears, then please try these:

   • 192.168.1.254
   • 192.168.1.1
   • 192.168.2.1
2. The default user name is "admin". The default password is "password", in lower case letters. Enter the user name and password and click the Apply button to log in. The System Basic Setup screen displays.

   Note: You must set up your computer and other client devices to work with the security settings on the Arris Router. Refer to the documentation for your client device for instructions on setting security.

3. If the above username/password doesn't work then try these most popular combinations that usually work for Arris Router models.

4. Still stuck? If you still can't log into your device, then your device needs to be RESET. Once you RESET, use username "admin" & password as "password".

Important Notes

1. If security has been properly set up on your computer to access the wireless LAN on the Arris Router, use the connection utility for your operating system to connect to the wireless LAN using its network name (SSID), as shown on the security label.
2. If you cannot access the wireless LAN, you must first establish a wired Ethernet connection between your computer and the Arris Router.
