23.1
Overview
Routing is based on the destination address only and the Device takes the shortest path to forward
a packet.

LABEL
DESCRIPTION
Destination
This indicates the destination IP address of this route.
Gateway
This indicates the IP address of the gateway that helps forward this route’s traffic.
Subnet Mask
This indicates the destination subnet mask of this route.
Flag
This indicates the route status.
U-Up:
The route is up.
!-Reject:
The route is blocked and will force a route lookup to fail.
G-Gateway:
The route uses a gateway to forward traffic.
H-Host:
The target of the route is a host.
R-Reinstate:
The route is reinstated for dynamic routing.
D-Dynamic (redirect):
The route is dynamically installed by a routing daemon or redirect.
M-Modified (redirect):
The route is modified from a routing daemon or redirect.
Metric
The metric represents the "cost of transmission". A router determines the best route for
transmission by choosing a path with the lowest "cost". The smaller the number, the lower
the "cost".

Service
This indicates the name of the service used to forward the route.
Interface
This indicates the name of the interface through which the route is forwarded.
br0
indicates the LAN interface.
ptm0
indicates the WAN interface using IPoE or in bridge mode.
ppp0
indicates the WAN interface using PPPoE.

IGMP Status
screens to look at IGMP group status and traffic statistics.
24.2
The IGMP Group Status Screen
Use this screen to look at the current list of multicast groups the Device has joined and which ports
have joined it. To open this screen, click
System Monitor > IGMP Group Status
.

DESCRIPTION
Interface
This field displays the name of an interface on the Device that belongs to an IGMP multicast
group.
Multicast Group
This field displays the name of the IGMP multicast group to which the interface belongs.
Filter Mode
INCLUDE
means that only the IP addresses in the
Source List
get to receive the multicast
group’s traffic.
EXCLUDE
means that the IP addresses in the
Source List
are not allowed to receive the
multicast group’s traffic but other IP addresses can.
Source List
This is the list of IP addresses that are allowed or not allowed to receive the multicast
group’s traffic depending on the filter mode.
