URL FILTER
The URL Filer allows you to restrict access from a device on your Local Area Network (LAN) to
certain websites on t he internet.
To use t his feature, first select whet her to Allow or Block t he URL list. If Allow is selected, only
t he URL addresses listed in t he table will be accessible to t he computers on t he LAN. If Block is
selected, t he URL addresses listed in t he table will be blocked from computers on t he LAN.
ADD URL ADDRESS
To add a URL address, click Add, t hen complete t he fields listed below and click Save/Apply
to apply t he settings.

DNS SERVER CONFIGURATION
If
Enable
Automatic
Assigned
DNS
is
selected,
t his
device
will
accept
t he
first
received
DNS
assignment
from
t he
Wide
Area
Network
(WAN)
interface
during
t he
connection
process.
O t herwise, you can enter t he primary and optional secondary DNS server IP addresses. Click
on Save to apply.
NOTE:
Click t he Save button to save t he new configuration. To make t he new configuration effective,
reboot your Gateway.

DYNAMIC DNS
The
Dynamic
DNS
service
allows
a
dynamic
IP
address
to
be
aliased
to
a
static
hostname
in
any of a selection of domains, allowing t he gateway to be more easily accessed from various
locations on t he internet.
NOTE:
The Add/Remove buttons will be displayed only if t he gateway has been assigned an IP address
from t he remote server.
