SECURITY
Your Gateway can be secured wit h t he IP Filtering function.
7.3.1
IP FILTERING
The
IP
Filtering
screen
sets
filter
rules
t hat
limit
incoming
and
outgoing
IP
traffic.
Multiple
filter rules can be set wit h at least one limiting condition. All conditions must be fulfilled to
allow individual IP packets to pass t hrough t he filter.
OUTGOING IP FILTER
The
default
setting
for
Outgoing
traffic
is
ACCEPTED.
Under
t his
condition,
all
outgoing
IP
packets t hat match t he filter rules will be BLOCKED.
To add a filtering rule, click t he Add button. The following screen will display.

To add a filtering rule, click t he Add button. The following screen will display.
Please refer to t he Outgoing IP Filter table for field descriptions.
Click Save/Apply to save and activate t he filter.

ROUTING
Static Route and Dynamic Route settings can be found in t he Routing link as illustrated below.
7.4.1
STATIC ROUTE
The Static Route screen displays t he configured static routes. Click t he Add or Remove buttons
to change settings.
Click t he Add button to display t he following screen.
Enter Destination Network Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway IP Address and/or WAN Interface.
Then click Save/Apply to add t he entry to t he routing table.

DYNAMIC ROUTE
To activate t his option, select t he enabled radio button for Global RIP Mode.
To
configure
an
individual
interface,
select
t he
desired
RIP
version
and
operation,
followed
by
placing
a
check
in
t he
enabled
checkbox
for
t hat
interface.
Click
Save/Apply
to
save
t he
configuration and to start or stop dynamic routing.

PARENTAL CONTROL
7.5.1
TIME RESTRICTION
Time Restriction allows you to restrict access from a device on your Local Area network (LAN)
to t he Internet t hrough t he Gateway on selected days at certain times. Make sure to activate t he
Internet Time server synchronization as described in section 7.10 SNTP, so t hat t he scheduled
times match your local time.
Click Add to display t he following screen. Enter t he MAC address of t he device t hat you wish to
restrict access for and select days of t he week and times to apply t he restriction
