ADVANCED SETUP – Connection Type
This window allows you to select the appropriate connection type. The
choices include
PPP over ATM (PPPoA)
,
PPP over Ethernet (PPPoE)
,
MAC
Encapsulation Routing
,
IP over ATM (IPoA)
, and
Bridging
(default).
This window also allows you to use the drop-down menu to select the
desired
Encapsulation Mode
. Click the
Next
button to continue.

To enable bridging, tick the
Enable Bridge Service
check box and enter a
Service Name.
Click the
Next
button to continue.

This summary window allows you to confirm the bridging settings you
have just made. Click the
Save
button to save your new bridging settings

This window allows you to set the username and the password for your
PPP connection. This information is obtained from your ISP. Additional
settings on this window will also depend on your ISP. Click the
