Ethernet, DSL, or both. Technical information about the properties of your
Internet connection is provided by your Internet service provider (ISP). For
example, your ISP should inform you whether you are connected to the Internet
using a static or dynamic IP address, or the protocol, such as PPPoA or PPPoE,
that you use to communicate over the Internet.

Select the country you located from the drop-down list.
ISP
Select the ISP you subscribed the internet service
from.
Protocol
Select the protocol you subscribed from your ISP.
Encapsulation
Mode
Select the method of encapsulation provided by your
ISP. You can select

PVC Settings
VPI
: The virtual path between two points in an ATM
network. Its valid value is from
0
to
255
.
VCI
: The virtual channel between two points in an ATM
network, ranging from
32
to
65535
(0 to 31 is reserved
for local management of ATM traffic).

Different protocol requires entering different information. You can fill in
the entries according to what your ISP provides you.
