Power on your cable or DSL modem. Wait until

1. I typed http://192.168.10.1 in my Internet Browser's Address Bar, but an error message
says “The page cannot be displayed.” How can I get into the TW100-S4W1CA's web
configuration page?

2. I am not sure what type of Internet Account Type I have for my Cable/DSL connection.
How do I find out?
Contact your Internet Service Provider's (ISP) support service for the correct information.
3. I went through the Quick Setup, but I can not get onto the Internet.
What should I do?
1. Verify that you can get onto the Internet with a direct connection into your modem.
2. Contact your ISP and verify all the information that you have in regards to your Internet
connection settings is correct.
3. Power cycle your modem and router. Unplug the power to the modem and router. Wait
30 seconds, and then reconnect the power to the modem. Wait for the modem to fully
boot up, and then reconnect the power to the router.
4. I forgot my login password.
What should I do?
Follow the instructions below:
1. Take a pin or paperclip and press the reset button on the side of the router.
2. Wait 15 seconds then let go.
This will return all settings to factory default.
The default IP address of the router is
192.168.10.1.
The default user name is “admin.
The default password is “admin”.
5. My cable ISP requires me to clone the modem computer’s MAC address.
What should I
do?
MAC address is the network device's hardware ID and consist of 12 hexadecimal characters
(e.g. 00:12:34:ab:cd:ef). Some ISPs register the subscriber's computer network adapter or
the modem's MAC address. Follow the instructions below to clone your modem or network
adapter's MAC address:
1. With the computer connected to the TW100-S4W1CA's network port, open the web
browser and enter http://192.168.10.1 into the address bar.
2. Enter the user name and password (default is admin for both user name and password)
3. Click on Advanced Setup.
4. Click on WAN on the left side of the screen.
5. Click on Dynamic IP on the left side of the screen.
6. To clone your computer's MAC address, click on “Clone MAC address”. To clone your
modem's MAC address, find the modem's MAC address and manually enter it here.
7. Click on Apply to save the settings.
