Failsafe Mode
The Nokia IP45 security platform enters failsafe mode when the main kernel gets corrupted. If
the main kernel becomes corrupted, the IP45 loads a failsafe kernel to the RAM. For the device
to function properly, it must be upgraded with a new firmware.
You can upgrade the firmware by using OOB or by using the console and LAN.
If the device is booted in failsafe mode, you receive the following login prompt:
Welcome to IP45 (failsafe)
login:
The username and password are
admin
and
password
respectively.
