LOGIN PROCEDURE
To login to t he web interface, follow t he steps below:
NOTE:
The default settings can be found in 3.3 Default Settings.
1:
Open a web browser and enter t he default IP address for t he Gateway in t he Web address
field. In t his case http://10.0.0.138
NOTE:
For remote access, use t he WAN IP address shown on t he WUI Homepage screen and login wit h
remote username and password.

A dialog box will appear, as illustrated below. enter t he default username and password, as
defined in section 3.3 Default Settings.
Click Ok to continue.
NOTE:
The login password can be changed later (see 7.8.± Passwords)

WEB USER INTERFACE HOMEPAGE
The web user interface (WUI) is divided into two window panels, t he main menu (on t he top)
and t he display screen (on t he bottom). The main menu has t he following options: Basic, Next
G™ Settings, Wi-Fi, Advanced Settings and Diagnostics.
Selecting
one
of
t hese
options
will
open
a
submenu
wit h
more
options.
Basic
is
discussed
below while subsequent chapters introduce t he ot her main menu selections.
NOTE:
The menu options available wit hin t he web user interface are based upon t he device configuration
and user privileges (i.e. local or remote).
BASIC / HOME
The
Basic
/
Home
screen
is
t he
WUI
homepage
and
t he
first
selection
on
t he
main
menu.
It
provides information regarding t he firmware, 3G, and IP configuration.

Option
Description
Model Name
The model name of t he device.
Board ID
The Hardware version of t he device
Bootloader version
The bootloader version of t he device.
Gateway Firmware version
The firmware version of t he device.
Wireless driver version
The wireless driver version of t he wireless module.
Network
The name of or ot her reference to t he mobile network
operator.
Link
Shows t he connection status of t he current Next G™
connection.
Mode
The radio access technique currently used to enable internet
access. It can be HSUPA, HSDPA, UMTS, or Disconnected.
Signal strengt h
The mobile network (UMTS) signal quality available at t he
device location. This signal quality affects t he performance
of t he unit. If two or more bars are green, t he connection is
usually acceptable.
SIM info
Shows t he SIM card status on t he device.
LAN IP Address
Shows t he IP address for LAN interface.
WAN IP Address
Shows t he IP address for WAN interface.
Primary DNS Server
Shows t he IP address of t he primary DNS server.
Secondary DNS server
Shows t he IP address of t he secondary DNS server.
Date/Time
The time according to t he device’s internal clock
