Inbound Filter
enables you to control what packets are allowed to pass through the router. The inbound filter only applies to packets that
are destined for virtual servers or DMZ hosts.

SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) is a widely used network monitoring and control protocol that reports activity on each network
device to the administrator of the network. SNMP can be used to monitor traffic and statistics of the DWR-953. The DWR-953 supports SNMP v1
or v2c.

Click Enable UPnP to use the Universal Plug and Play (UPnP™)
feature. UPnP provides compatibility with networking equipment,
software and peripherals.
Select the box to allow the WAN port to be “pinged.” Blocking the
Ping option may provide some extra security from hackers.

This page allows you to configure the router’s TR069 settings. TR-069 provides standardized remote device management for residential
gateways, which allows your router to be configured remotely by your ISP (if supported), or any service providing Auto-Configuration Servers
(ACS). If you wish to configure TR069 but lack the required settings, contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP).

Displays the current time and date of the router.
Select the appropriate time zone from the drop-down box.
Check the box to enable daylight saving time.
Check the box to automatically synchronize the router with an
Internet time server.
Choose the NTP Server used for synchronizing time and date. Click
Update Now
to synchronize with the NTP server now.
