Configuring the Residential Gateway

Use the descriptions and instructions in the following table to configure MAC
address filtering for your wireless network. After you make your selections, click
Save Filter Settings
to apply your changes.

Click the SSID drop-down arrow to select the SSID to which
you would like to apply the filtered clients:
Allow All
- allow access to all the clients included in WiFi
Control List
Allow-
allow access to the selected clients in WiFi Control
List
Deny-
deny access to the selected clients in WiFi Control

Manually-Added WiFi
Devices
Device Name
Enter the name of the device in the
Device Name
field.
Manually-Added WiFi
Devices
MAC Address
Enter the MAC address of the device in the
MAC Address
fields.

ADD
. The WiFi client is added to the WiFi Control List.

connect WPS clients, WPS PIN method and Push Button. After you make your

Pair
to connect your wireless device.

Connection Options
Click the
Connection Options
drop-down arrow to select the
connection method to use. When selecting the Push Button
method, click
PAIR
after the client has asked the WPS button
be pushed. The wireless device will connect within two
minutes.
Wireless Clients PIN
To pair, select the Pair button and your wireless device will
connect within two minutes. You may also press the [push]
button on this device. The Wireless Clients PIN, found from
client, needs to be entered in this field and click PAIR.

The following chart illustrates the sequence of steps and the corresponding
appearance of the Residential Gateway front panel LED status indicators during
power up, calibration, and registration on the network when AC power is applied to
the Residential Gateway. Use this chart to troubleshoot the power up, calibration,
and registration process of your Residential Gateway.
Note:
After the Residential Gateway completes Step 7 (Data Network Registration
Complete), the Residential Gateway proceeds immediately to Normal Operations.
