Click Add to configure a new WAN interface, or click Edit to edit an existing
WAN interface.

protocol.

In the PPPoE Service Name: field, enter the name for the point-to-point over
Ethernet service.

In the VPI
field, enter the virtual path identifier (VPI). Values are: 0 to 65535.

In the VCI field, enter the virtual channel identifier (VCI). Values are: 0 to
65535.

check box if applicable.

. This action reboots the residential gateway so that the WAN setup

Configuring the WAN Interface (MER Broadband Type)
To configure a WAN interface for MAC Encapsulation Routing (MER) broadband
type, complete the following steps.

on the main screen. The Client Summary screen opens.
