Bandwidth-consuming options, such as wallpaper and menu animations,

Configuring the Host Computer
To enable remote users to connect to a computer, you must enable the Remote Desktop
server on that computer.
Note:
The host computer must have one of the following operating systems installed:
•
Microsoft Windows Server 2003
•
Microsoft Windows XP Professional
•
Microsoft Windows XP Media Center
•
Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC 2005
To enable users to remotely connect to a computer
1.
Log on to the desired computer as an administrator.
2.
For each remote user who should be allowed to access this computer, create a
user account with a password.
For information, refer to Microsoft documentation.
3.
On the desktop, right-click on
My Computer
, and select
Properties
in the pop-
up menu that appears.
The
System Properties
dialog box appears displaying the
General
tab.

Click the
Remote
tab.
