to access the WWAN settings connection log. The
Connection Log
has the
following:

Date/Time
— The date/time the device was detected by the network.
•
Client IP Address
— The client IP address for the connected device.
•
Destination
— The destination IP address.
•
Port
— Identifies the port used for the connection.
•
Type
— This can be
UDP
or
TCP
.

WWAN Settings
To configure the settings, follow these steps:

Select the device
connection method from the Auto-connect drop-down menu. The
connection choices are
Auto-connect
,
Auto-connect except with roaming
, or
Manual
.

Global roaming is enabled by default when the
Auto-connect
option in enabled. To disable
global roaming, select either the
Auto -connect except when Roaming
or
Manual
option, and click
the
Disable Roaming
checkbox..
NOTE
The APN and HSPA APN are Access Point Names that the device uses to connect to the Internet.
These are automatically provided by your wireless carrier. Entering an incorrect name in either of
these fields will prevent Internet access.

Select the WWAN Preferred Mode from the WWAN Preferred Mode drop-down menu to
select the type of technology you want to use to connect to the Internet. The Preferred
Mode choices are
Global, CDMA Auto (1XRTT, EVDO), LTE only, 1XRTT only, EVDO only,
or
HSPA only
.

To display the HSPA/GSM Mode menu options, select
HSPA only
from the
WWAN Preferred
Mode drop-down menu.

Select the HSPA/GSM Mode from the HSPA/GSM Mode drop-down menu. The choices

HSPA/UMTS + GSM (GPRS EDGE), HSPA/UMTS only,

SIM
The SIM menu takes you to the SIM screen. The SIM screen gives you settings and information about
MiFi 4620L's SIM card. The SIM screen has the following section:

SIM Operations
The SIM Operations section has the following:
•
SIM Status
— Indicates the current SIM status, usually one of the following: no SIM, invalid
SIM, PIN lock, PUK lock, ready, or SIM error.
•
SIM Lock Status
— Locked or unlocked.
•
SIM Operation
— Lock SIM or unlock SIM.
•
Current PIN
— Required to lock SIM.
IMPORTANT
Entering an incorrect PIN will lock the SIM.
