Displays whether the

settings when you use WPS to connect a device to the 5 GHz
band of the main network:
Wi-Fi Protected Setup
Configured
. The
modem router
keeps its existing WiFi
settings. This is the default setting.
Not configured
. The
modem router
generates a random
SSID and passphrase and changes the security mode to
WPA/WPA2-PSK mixed mode.

Guest Network (2.4GHz)
The settings of the WiFi port for the 2.4 GHz band of the guest network. For information about how
to configure the settings of the guest network, see

The WiFi network name for the 2.4 GHz band of the guest
network.
Name (SSID)
Displays whether the 2.4 GHz band of the guest network is
enabled.
Wireless AP
The WiFi LED on the front of the
modem router
is not affected
by the status of the guest network.
Displays whether the 2.4 GHz band of the guest network
broadcasts its SSID.
Broadcast Name
Displays whether users of the 2.4 GHz band of the guest
network are allowed to access the main network.
Allow guest to access My Local
Network
Guest Network (5.0GHz)
The settings of the WiFi port for the 5 GHz band of the guest network. For information about how to

You can view the traffic statistics for the ports of the

To view the traffic statistics for the ports of the
modem router
:
1.
Launch an Internet browser from a computer or WiFi device that is connected to the network.
2.
Type

A login window opens.

Enter the user name and password for the
modem router
.
The user name is

. The default password is

. The user name and password are
case-sensitive.
4.
Click the
OK
button.
The BASIC Home page displays.
5.
Select
ADVANCED > ADVANCED Home

Description
Field or Column
The statistics for the WAN (Internet over Ethernet) port, LAN (Ethernet)
ports, WLAN b/g/n port, and WLAN a/n/ac port. For each port, the
screen displays the information that is described in this table.
Port
The link status of the port.
Status
The number of packets that were transmitted on this port since reset
or manual clear.
TxPkts
The number of packets that were received on this port since reset or
manual clear.
RxPkts
The number of packets that collided on this port since reset or manual
clear.
Collisions
The number of bytes per second that were transmitted on this port
since reset or manual clear.
Tx B/s
The number of bytes per second that were received on this port since
reset or manual clear.
Rx B/s
The time elapsed since this port acquired the link.
Up Time
ADSL Link
In addition to the xDSL firmware version, the screen displays the ADSL link information that is
described in this table.
The downstream and upstream link rates in Kbps.
Link Rate
The downstream and upstream Line Attenuation (LATN) in dB. The
LATN expresses the signal quality.
Line Attenuation
The downstream and upstream Signal-to-Noise Ratio Margin (SNRM)
in dB.The SNRM expresses the signal quality in relation to interference.
Noise Margin
The interval at which the statistics are updated in this screen.
Poll Interval
Change the Traffic Statistics Polling Frequency
You can change the polling frequency or stop traffic polling.

To change the traffic statistics polling frequency or stop polling:
1.
Launch an Internet browser from a computer or WiFi device that is connected to the network.

Change the polling frequency or stop polling:
To change the polling frequency, do the following:

field, enter a time in seconds.

Set Interval
button.
To stop polling, click the
Stop

View or Change a TCP/IP Internet Connection
You can view information about a TCP/IP Internet connection of the
modem router
and renew or release
such a connection.
To view or change the TCP/IP Internet connection status:
1.
Launch an Internet browser from a computer or WiFi device that is connected to the network.
2.
Type

The IP address that is assigned by the ISP to the
modem router

IP Address
The subnet mask that is assigned by the ISP to the
modem router

Subnet Mask
The IP address of the default gateway of the ISP that the
modem router
communicates with.
Default Gateway
The IP address of the DHCP server of the ISP that issues the IP address
to the
modem router
.
DHCP Server
The IP address of the Domain Name System (DNS) server of the ISP
that provides translation of network names to IP addresses.
DNS Server
7.
To renew the Internet connection when the connection is active, click the
Renew
button.
8.
To terminate the Internet connection when the connection is active, click the
Release
button.
9.
Click the
Close Window
button.
The pop-up window closes.
View or Change a PPPoE or PPPoA Internet Connection
You can view information about a PPPoE or PPPoA Internet connection of the
modem router
and establish
or terminate such a connection.
To view or change the PPPoE or PPPoA Internet connection status:

Launch an Internet browser from a computer or WiFi device that is connected to the network.
