Default Gateway
In this page, you can modify the default gateway settings. If you select
Enable Automatic Assigned Default Gateway
, this router can accept the
first received default gateway assignment from one of the PPPoA, PPPoE or MER/DHCP enabled PVC(s). If the check box is not selected, you must
enter the static default gateway and/or a WAN interface. Then, click
Save/Apply.
Note:
If the Automatic Assigned Default Gateway check box is changed from deselected to selected, you must reboot the router to obtain the
automatic assigned default gateway.

RIP
To activate RIP for the device, select the
Enabled
checkbox for
Global RIP Mode.
To configure an individual interface, select the desired RIP version
and operation, followed by placing a check in the
Enabled
checkbox for the interface.
Click the “Apply” button to save the configuration, and to start or
stop RIP based on the Global RIP Mode selected.
