Configuring via Web-based Interface
Users
On the
USB storage / Users
page, you can create user accounts to provide access to data on the
USB storage connected to the router.

To create a new user account, click the
Add
button.

On the opened page, specify a username and password for the account in the relevant fields. You
can use letters of the Latin and Russian alphabets (uppercase and/or lowercase) and digits.

You cannot create accounts with the following usernames:
ftp
,
admin
,
support
,
user
,
nobody
.
To change the password of an account, select the relevant line in the table. On the opened page,
enter a new value in the
Password
field and click the
Save
button.
To delete an account, select a relevant line in the table. On the opened page, click the
Delete
button.
For ext2 or ext3 storages or storage partitions, it is possible to create users with limited rights.
Select the
Read only
checkbox not to let the user create, change, or delete files.
In addition, by default, users with accounts from this page cannot access ext2 or ext3 storages or
storage partitions. To configure access, it is necessary to proceed to the USB storage / Filebrowser
page and assign relevant rights.
