Schedules
Enter a name for your new schedule.
Select a day, a range of days, or All Week to include
every day of the week.
Uncheck this box to enter a start and end time for your
schedule or check it to select 24 hours.
Select
12-hour
or
24-hour
format.
The list of schedules will be listed here. Click the
Edit icon to make changes or click the Delete icon to
remove the schedule.
Once you create a schedule, click
Save Settings

Admin
This page will allow you to change the Administrator password, system name, remote management, and time settings.
Maintenance
Enter a new password for the Admin login name. Enter again to
verify password.
Enter a name for your router.
Enables a challenge-response test to require users to type letters
or numbers from a distorted image displayed on the screen to
prevent online hackers and unauthorized users from gaining
access to your router’s network settings.
Check to enable HTTPS to connect to the router securely. This
means to connect to the router, you must enter
https
://192.168.0.1
(for example) instead of
http
://192.168.0.1
.
Remote management allows the DGL-5500 to be configured
from the Internet by a web browser. A username/password is still
required to access the Web Management interface.
The port number used to access the DGL-5500 is used in the URL. Example:
whereas x.x.x.x is the Internet IP address
of the DGL-5500 and 8080 is the port used for the Web Management interface.
If you have enabled
HTTPS Server,
you must enter

as part of the URL to access the router remotely.
This section will list any rules that are created. You may click the
Edit
icon to change the settings or enable/disable the rule, or click the
Delete
icon to remove the rule.

Time
Displays the current date and time of the router.
Select your time zone from the drop-down menu.
Check to enable manual entry of daylight saving time.
Enter a start date, an end date, including day of the week, and
time for daylight saving time.

The Time Configuration option allows you to configure, update, and maintain the correct time on the internal system clock.

This option will restore all configuration settings back to the
settings that were in effect at the time the router was shipped
from the factory. Any settings that have not been saved will be lost,
including any rules that you have created. If you want to save the
current router configuration settings, use the
Save Configuration
button above.
Click to reboot the router.
Use this option to save the current router configuration settings to
a file on the hard disk of the computer you are using. First, click the
Save
Configuration
button. A file dialog will appear, allowing you
to select a location and file name for the settings.
Use this option to load previously saved router configuration
settings. First, use the
Choose File
option to find a previously saved
file of configuration settings. Then, click the
Restore Configuration
from File
button to transfer those settings to the router.

This section allows you to manage the router’s configuration settings, reboot the router, and restore the router to the factory
default settings. Restoring the unit to the factory default settings will erase all settings, including any rules that you’ve created.

Click to see if there is an update available. If there is you must
download the firmware file to your computer.
After you have downloaded the new firmware, click
Browse
to
locate the firmware update on your hard drive. Click
Upload
to
complete the firmware upgrade.
Once you have a firmware update on your computer, use this
option to browse for the file and then upload the information
into the access point.

This page displays the current information for the DGL-5500. It will display the LAN, WAN (Internet), and Wireless information.
If your Internet connection is set up for a Dynamic IP address then a
Release
button and a
Renew
button will be displayed.
Use
Release
to disconnect from your ISP and use
Renew
to connect to your ISP.
If your Internet connection is set up for PPPoE, a
Connect
button and a
Disconnect
button will be displayed. Use
Disconnect
to drop the PPPoE connection and use
Connect
to establish the PPPoE connection.
Displays the router’s time and firmware version.
Displays the MAC address and the public IP settings.
Displays the MAC address and the private (local) IP settings for the
router.
Displays the 2.4GHz wireless MAC address and your wireless settings
such as SSID, channel, and security settings.
Displays the 5GHz wireless MAC address and your wireless settings
such as SSID, channel, and security settings.
