Connecting Your Router
1.
Connect the power adapter as illustrated below
and power
on
the
device, m
ake sure that the PWR LED is
lit
steadily.
2.
Connect
your network or computer to the router using the
LAN
(Local
Area
Network)
cable.
3.
Connect the
ADSL/telephone
(
ADSL
)
cable to the router’s DSL port as illustrated below.

Go to
Start / Settings / Control Panel
. In the Control Panel,
double-click
Network
and choose the
Configuration
tab.
2.
Select
TCP / IP -> NE2000 Compatible
, or the name of any
Network Interface Card (NIC) in your PC. (

Click
Properties
.
4.
Select the
IP Address
tab. In this page, click the Obtain an IP
address automatically radio button. (
See Figure 3.10)

Then select the
DNS Configuration
tab.

Select the
Disable DNS
radio button and click
OK
to finish the
configuration.
