CX-DSS58 is a 4 satellite input and 8 output multiswitch
for DirecTV® Plus systems and compatible devices.
The
switch utilizes standard 13V/18V switching on LNB inputs
1 and 2 and 13V 22khz/ 18V 22khz switching on ports
3 and 4.
The switch is designed to be used with the
internal coax and has the ability to pass modulated feeds
from the room location for distribution throughout the
home on the same internal coaxial cable.
Modulated Signals in room return to the
CX-DSS58 for whole house distribution

The CX-HDA58 is an RF solution designed to handle 8 HDTV satellite receivers and 8
off-air (antenna) ports for antenna and modulated signal distribution.The 8-way off air is a
passive system that requires the usage of an antenna pre-amp.
An amplifier is NOT
included due to the nature of signal levels of off-air signals.
A broadband amplifier is not a
good solution in this instance.

On smaller systems a CX-DSS4 system might be used. This is a 2 satellite feed
in and 4 receiver multiswitch. This allows for 4 different satellite receivers to
view signals at the same time.
