To complete the Restore process the Gateway will reboot.
Reboot
In the event that the system stops responding correctly or functioning properly, you can
perform a reboot.
To access the Reboot option page, on the Side Navigation bar, click on [Tools] link and then
click on the [Reboot] link.
To reboot the Gateway, follow the steps below:
1.
Click the [Apply] button
2.
Click [OK] on the confirmation dialog box
3.
The Gateway will reboot.
NOTE
: The Reboot will be complete when the power LED stops blinking.
Diagnostics
This section can be used to troubleshoot connection and setup issues. You can do the following:
•
Trace Route
– enter in the IP/Domain Name and click [tracert] to begin the trace from
the Gateway.
•
Ping
– enter in the IP/Domain Name and click the [ping] button to begin the ping from
the Gateway.
•
Send Inspected Traffic to Log Server
– enter in the IP Address of your log server and
the amount of time you want to inspect and then click the [Apply] button.
The
Gateway will then capture all the data frames seen by the cable modem interface and
send the results to the configured log server.
