ADSL Section
ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line)
is designed to deliver more
bandwidth downstream (from the central office to the customer site) than up-
stream. This section (see
Figure 1) is used to configure ADSL operation type
and shows the ADSL status.

The menu item allows you to specify the ADSL standards to operate with. You
may explicitly set a specific standard, or choose
“Automatic”
to automatically
negotiate with remote DSLAM.
