The TR-069 Screen
Click
Maintenance > TR-069 Client
to open the following screen. Use this screen to configure your
Router to be managed by an ACS.

Connection
Request Port
The default port for access to the Router from the management server is the HTTP port,
port 80. If you change it, make sure it does not conflict with another port on your network
and it is recommended to use a port number above 1024 (not a commonly used port). The
management server should use this port to connect to the Router. You may need to alter
your NAT port forwarding rules if they were already configured.
Connection
Request User
Name
Enter the connection request user name.
When the ACS makes a connection request to the Router, this user name is used to
authenticate the ACS.

Password
Enter the connection request password.
When the ACS makes a connection request to the Router, this password is used to
authenticate the ACS.
Inform
Select
Enable
for the Router to send periodic inform via TR-069 on the WAN. Otherwise,
select
Disable
.
Inform
Interval
Enter the time interval (in seconds) at which the Router sends information to the auto-
configuration server.

screen to configure the system’s inactivity time-out interval.

Inactivity Timer
Type how manyseconds a management session (either via the web configurator) can be
left idle before the session times out. After it times out you have to log in with your
password again. Very long idle timeouts may have security risks. A value of "0" means a
management session never times out, no matter how long it has been left idle (not
recommended).

The Time Setting Screen
To change your Router’s time and date, click
Maintenance > Time
. The screen appears as shown.
Use this screen to configure the Router’s time based on your local time zone.

This field displays the date and time of your Router.
Manual
Select this to enter the time and date manually in hh:mm:ss and yyyy/mm/dd format.
Get from Time
Server
Select this to have the Router get the time automatically from a time server.
Time Server
Address 1, 2
Enter the IP address or URL (up to 31 extended ASCII characters in length) of your
time server. Check with your ISP/network administrator if you are unsure of this
information.
Time Zone
Choose the time zone of your location. This will set the time difference between your
time zone and Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

Daylight Savings
Daylight saving is a period from late spring to early fall when many countries set their
clocks ahead of normal local time by one hour to give more daytime light in the
evening. Select this option if you use Daylight Saving Time.
Start/End Date
Configure the day and time when Daylight Saving Time starts/ends if you selected
Daylight Savings
. The
o'clock
field uses the 24 hour format.
