between AC_BE and AC_BK categories must be greater.
Txop
It means transmission opportunity. For WMM categories of
AC_VI and AC_VO that need higher priorities in data
transmission, please set greater value for them to get
highest transmission opportunity. Specify the value ranging
from 0 to 65535.
ACM
It is an abbreviation of Admission control Mandatory. It can
restrict stations from using specific category class if it is
checked.
Note:
Vigor2860 provides standard WMM configuration in
the web page. If you want to modify the parameters, please
refer to the Wi-Fi WMM standard specification.
AckPolicy
Uncheck” (default value) the box means the AP router will
answer the response request while transmitting WMM
packets through wireless connection. It can assure that the
peer must receive the WMM packets.
“Check” the box means the AP router will not answer any
response request for the transmitting packets. It will have
better performance with lower reliability.
After finishing all the settings here, please click

to save the configuration.

3.16.9 Station Control
Station Control is used to specify the duration for the wireless client to connect and reconnect
Vigor router. If such function is not enabled, the wireless client can connect Vigor router until
the router shuts down.
Such feature is especially useful for free Wi-Fi service. For example, a coffee shop offers free
Wi-Fi service for its guests for one hour every day. Then, the connection time can be set as “1
hour” and reconnection time can be set as “1 day”. Thus, the guest can finish his job within
one hour and will not occupy the wireless network for a long time.
Available settings are explained as follows:

Display the SSID that the wireless station will use it to
connect with Vigor router.

Use the drop down list to choose the duration for the wireless
client connecting /reconnecting to Vigor router. Or, type the

Control List
All the wireless stations connecting to Vigor router by using
such SSID will be listed on Station Control List.

Click it to access in to

modifying the settings if required.
After finishing all the settings here, please click

3.16.10 AP Discovery
Vigor router can scan all regulatory channels and find working APs in the neighborhood.
Based on the scanning result, users will know which channel is clean for usage. Also, it can be
used to facilitate finding an AP for a WDS link. Notice that during the scanning process (about
5 seconds), no client is allowed to connect to Vigor.
This page is used to scan the existence of the APs on the wireless LAN. Yet, only the AP
which is in the same channel of this router can be found. Please click
Scan
to discover all the
connected APs.

3.17 SSL VPN
An SSL VPN (Secure Sockets Layer virtual private network) is a form of VPN that can be
used with a standard Web browser.
There are two benefits that SSL VPN provides:
It is not necessary for users to preinstall VPN client software for executing SSL VPN
connection.
There are less restrictions for the data encrypted through SSL VPN in comparing with
traditional VPN.
3.17.1 General Setup
This page determines the general configuration for SSL VPN Server and SSL Tunnel.
Available settings are explained as follows:

Port
Such port is set for SSL VPN server. It will not affect the
HTTPS Port configuration set in
System
Maintenance>>Management
. In general, the default setting is
443.
Server Certificate
When the client does not set any certificate, default certificate
will be used for HTTPS and SSL VPN server. Choose any one
of the user-defined certificates from the drop down list if users
set several certificates previously. Otherwise, choose
Self-signed
to use the router’s built-in default certificate. The
default certificate can be used in SSL VPN server and HTTPS
Web Proxy.
After finishing all the settings here, please click
OK
to save the configuration.
