2.1.2 For WAN2 (Ethernet)
WAN2 is dedicated to physical mode in Ethernet. If you choose WAN2, please specify
physical type. Then, click
Next
.
Available settings are explained as follows:
Item
Description
Display Name
Type a name for the router.
VLAN Tag insertion
The settings configured in this field are available for WAN1
and WAN2.
Enable
– Enable the function of VLAN with tag.
The router will add specific VLAN number to all packets on
the WAN while sending them out.
Please type the tag value and specify the priority for the
packets sending by WAN1.
Disable
– Disable the function of VLAN with tag.
Tag value
– Type the value as the VLAN ID number. The
range is form 0 to 4095.
Priority
– Type the packet priority number for such VLAN.
The range is from 0 to 7.
On the next page as shown below, please select the appropriate Internet access type according
to the information from your ISP. For example, you should select PPPoE mode if the ISP
provides you PPPoE interface. Then click
Next
for next step.

WAN IP
Configuration
Obtain an IP address automatically
– the router will get an
IP address automatically from DHCP server.
Specify an IP address
– you have to type relational settings
manually.
IP Address
- Type the IP address.
Subnet Mask
–Type the subnet mask.
Gateway – Type the IP address of the gateway.
Primary DNS
–Type in the primary IP address for the router.
Second DNS
–Type in secondary IP address for necessity in
the future.
PPTP Server / L2TP
Server
Type the IP address of the server.
Back
Click it to return to previous setting page.
Next
Click it to get into the next setting page.
Cancel
Click it to give up the quick start wizard.

Please type in the IP address/mask/gateway information originally provided by your ISP.
Then click
Next
