Virtual Path Identifier (VPI) is the virtual path between two

points in an ATM network. Its value range is from 0 to 255.

VCI

Virtual Channel Identifier (VCI) is the virtual channel

between two points in an ATM network. Its value range is

from 32 to 65535 (0 to 31 is reserved for local

MAINTENANCE of ATM traffic).

This section describes the wireless LAN and some basic configuration. Wireless LANs can be as simple as two computers with wireless LAN cards communicating in a

pear-to-pear network or as complex as a number of computers with wireless LAN cards communicating through access points which bridge network traffic to wired LAN.
