Help
Click on the
Help
link from the tools bar of the main screen to enter the Help Page,
it provides a link to D-Link°s support website.
D-Link°s support website will provide
the most up to date information on your DP-300U Print Server.
Please check the
website regularly for product and firmware updates.

Open the web browser, and type in the IP Address of the DP-300U.
For example, type
into the
Location
or
Address
field. Press
the
Enter
or
(Return)
Key.
Note:
The PC°s IP Address must be in the same subnet as the Print Server°s IP
Address for the two devices to communicate. (For example, if your Print
Server°s IP Address is
192.168.0.10, with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0,
then your computer°s IP Address should be 192.168.0.x, where x is a value
between 1-254, excluding 10.) See

in this manual to find out how to change an IP Address.

Port Names
for future reference.
You will need this information later in the configuration process.

TCP/IP Protocol

Network

(We recommend that you keep the default settings as shown.)

need to make changes, make sure to click
Save
after you have made the
changes. (You may wish to make a note of the IP Address.)
